Hey guys, Just wanna ask for tips on beginner workouts.
I broke my hand year ago and I find myself not allowed to do any exercised that affecting upper body for almost 8 months. so, I find myself weaker and I'm trying to build up my muscle and strength. any tips on that?I normally prefer body weight exercise such as push up or sit up. so how many set and repetition you think I should start off with. Thanks

Sounds like you need consult your rehab doc first. arm fracture comes with many different forms and you might want to choose certain ways of exercise over others to start with.

I already consult with the doctor and he said it is alright to start workout again. the thing is he recommend me to avoid using weights if possible and exercise using body weight such as push up. so I'm wondering how many repetition or sets that will suit me in the beginning?

thanks

Did he say never to lift weights again? You'd do well with body weight exercises and progress into free weight movements such as squats, rows, lunges, etc. I'd start with pretty high repetitions to begin with and gradually come down over time.
