your in your 40's and your asking people on internet hoiw to dress.
try walking in your neighborhood and see what other 40 somethings are wearing that should get you the idea.
remember on this CD a lot of people have serious hangups of what we men should and should not wear.
I want to look cool and funky without spending too much money.
I have no fashion senses what so ever.
Do you guys have a tip on how I should dress to attract women?
I don't want to give off "I AM ALL MONEY" which I aint I got no money no honey and no bunnies.
Please help me I want to to dress up and shed some pants as well as reverse my aging.
Theres nothing worse than a man in his 40s trying to look like he is in his 20s.
You say you have no "honey" now, you sure are not gonna get any by dressing funky.
I'm 47 and far from funky... and i'm single because my life is an absolute wreck, and yet I constantly find myself interested in younger women to the point of obsession...... Maybe that's this guys bag.... I work with a twenty-something blonde who kills me every time she smiles at me..... and says hi...... But I'm realistic enough to know that pursuing something is pointless and would be a foolish enterprise.....
Maybe he should consider porn.... It's cheaper than therapy... I recommend Ginger Lee and Nicole Brazzle..... but beware because when you start swimming in the dark waters of internet porn, you could drown, but boy are those waters cool..... And the best part is that these cuties don't sweat "funky threads" because they don't wear any....... I hope i've offended no one.......
To answer the OP's question, I think a lot of men in their forties can pull off funky looks.
One of my favorite TV personalities is Sam the Cooking Guy. He is on our cable network channel and does a cooking show from his home. He is in his mid-late forties, with glasses and thinning hair and I absolutely adore his style. He hosts his show from San Diego and has a very laid-back appearance to him. Look him up online. He dresses in mostly t-shirts, jeans, and flip flops, but I have never looked at thim and thought of him as being inappropriately dressed for his age. He manages to pull of funky and yet age appropriate at the same time.

That doesn't sound particularly funky, just casual. Also, he should not be wearing flip flops on a cooking show! Safety first!
Guys who try to dress funky usually wear polyester in obnoxious prints and colours. Nobody should wear that.

flip-flops on a cooking show? I'm surprised the authorities have not come to visit him.
Here in Florida, thats a critical safety violation. Who would wanna eat anything out of that kitchen? Ewwwwwww.....

I think he dresses funky compared to most men his age who live in polos and khakis. He frequently wears concert t-shirts; last night's episode he had on a Jack Johnson t-shirt with dark wash jeans and flops. He wears dark-rimmed glasses. He reminds me of Elvis Costello.
Since most of us cook in casual shoes/slippes or barefoot, I'm sure he isn't concerned about wearing flops at home.
