if someone else's ugly personality ruins your week then you are overly sensitive. if you are married or friend's with someone with an "ugly personality" that is your mistake. but this thread shouldnt even be touching on this concept of "ugly personality. it should be what life is like to a physically hideous person compared to someone else.
No maybe the pricks with ugly personalities should just admit they're pricks instead of trying to deflect blame onto others by calling others "Too sensitive". Which ironically enough is basically them bitching and whining about others who call them out on their behavior.
You really see no distinction between what people find beautiful and what people want to have sex with?
Well, I do sort of see a distinction between those two... but I wasn't talking about what people want to have sex with. Some men will have sex with any willing woman... there are those who'd do it with animals or dead people... but that's because they're desperate for sex (or mentally ill). In the privacy of their own homes, when they're searching for porn, they will search for what they find beautiful, because everything is equally accessible. If they aren't sexually desperate, and they're actually able to control themselves, they will seek that which they find beautiful.

I completely disagree. I think the category of what we find beautiful in another human and what we find sexually arousing is just a venn diagram. Sure, there's crossover, but they are not the same. Arousal and disgust are closely linked emotions.
I will paraphrase the Pulp Fiction quotation I've cited in other threads: what we find pleasing to the touch and what we find pleasing to the eye are so seldom the same.
Now I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say the second one will probably have (a lot) more guys interested in her based on her looks alone no matter how good "beautiful personality" the first chick has.
I'm gonna take a wild guess that the first would have less problems attracting women...And the second one isn't even what I'd call ugly, he's just a classic nerd looking type of guy.
Now why is this? oh gee I don't know because one is ugly and the other one is hot/beautiful.
When we're talking about looks it has nothing to do with personality. But let's say we put in personality in the equation. let's say the beautiful playboy model above and the guy i got from googling "hot guy" have average plain personalities, while the two ugly people had the most perfect personalities in the world, I'd guess the guy could make it, but the girl would still be at a huge loss compared to the playboy chick.

You're probably right, but the only things that most guys would find "wrong" with the first lady are strabismus and bad teeth. Strabismus can be corrected with therapy or surgery, and bad teeth can be corrected with orthodontic treatment or surgery.
And hey, maybe some guys like that look! I have a middle-aged male student who is constantly talking positively about his wife... he seems to be a genuinely happy guy and truly in love with her. I met her not long ago and found that she has strabismus, gaps between her teeth, she's fat, and she looks much older than her age. Most men would say that those are all bad things. But who's to judge? As long as he finds her beautiful, that's all that matters. Maybe he likes those traits! And if you are right about how few men would want to date a woman like that, there are distinct benefits to that situation. I, for one, wouldn't want to have other men constantly staring at my wife or making passes at her.
By the way, the woman in the second picture has fake breasts. That, to me, is ugly.
Between those two dudes, the only real difference is that the "nerdy" guy has off-kiltered glasses and somewhat bad teeth. But you know, "bad teeth" are the norm, rather than the exception. Why else would 90% of teenagers need orthodontic work to make their teeth look "normal" and function "normally"? Bad teeth can be caused by all kinds of factors - genetic predisposition, thumb sucking, etc.
The dude with all of the muscles is likely a self-absorbed gymaholic. I know how much time I have to waste out of my life, at the gym, just to keep my prodigious eating habits in check... and I know how much more time my brother wastes out of his life, at the gym, to make himself "ripped" or whatever you want to call it. Sorry, but I have better things to do with two hours every day. If I were a woman, I would look at a dude like that and see someone who was likely to be a narcissist and unable to understand how to love someone else. That guy's appearance goes beyond "taking care of yourself".
Check out the scientific studies on how women perceive male appearances. The guys who are evaluated as the best likely partners and fathers are the ones who have mild, sweet appearances which aren't even close to the "Calvin Klein model" appearance of that first dude.

Only in the mind of the majority. Since it is not this way in the opinion / taste of everyone, it is not a truth... merely a trend.

Depends upon the guy. I understand what it's like to look at a woman and see a physically beautiful person, then become convinced of the darkness of her personality... and then look at the same woman, seeing someone not quite so beautiful. But then again, I'm not the typical man.
