I used to also love those bath oil beads that were made of a waxy substance that would dissolve in the bathtub, and release scented bath oil. They were in a clear plastic round container, and they were always a great add-on Christmas present. They came in several colors in one package, but I loved the green the best--it was pine or some type of evergreen.
I have some old Heaven Scent perfume by Helena Rubenstein (the one made by Dana isn't quite the same). Also have a bottles of Shalimar, My Sin and Aphrodite that belonged to my mother.
I have a jar of Noxema, though I seldom use it. And I have a container of bag balm, which I use for occasional dry patches and cuticles.
Also have a jar of Merle Norman's Superlube emollient that also belonged to my mother. I love it.
Oh, yes, I went through my Love's Baby Soft phase. And the Corn Huskers lotion bottle brought back memories, too. I am sooo smiling as I read this thread.
An old hair care product my mom used to use was Vigorol. Also Dixie Peach, Royal Crown pomades -- Hair grease. Oh my goodness ...the things we used to put on and in our hair
Flex Shampoo It probably wasn't the greatest but it smelled SO pretty... and I still remember the bottles when they were cylindrical rather than the flatter/regular shape they were later...
Do they still make Flex / have it available in the U.S?
Wella Balsam. Awesome.
