ABC News' Bianna Golodryga reports: Most fashion experts will tell you that Cindy McCain looked like a million bucks during this week's Republican National Convention. In reality, it was more like $313,000.

Good for her. If I had that kind of money, I would dress any way I wanted and make no excuses for it!

Her money to be spent anyway she wants. How does anyone know she paid for the dress? It is very common practice for designers to give outfits away for high profile events. My wife was actually shocked at the low price tag, she says "They bought off the rack and didn't have it made for only 3 grand."

You don't think she actually PAID for the outfit, do you? No way! Wealthy people would NEVER spend that kind of money on a 1-time outfit!

Don't care how much it cost or who paid. I thought she not only looked beautiful, but actually looked healthy. A while back, I thought she looked scary. Didn't know if it was too much surgery or not enough food.

Seems like a miscue when one of the fundamentals of your husband's campaign is "the other side is elitist and we're the folksy down-to-earth types"

Cindy McCain seems like a throwback to Nancy Reagan, for better or worse. I think the looser hair and golden yellow ensemble made her look warmer and more approachable. She is up against Michelle Obama who looks like the typical confident working mom. Cindy has way too much Botox and can look icy and too perfect for most of us to relate too.
She needs to realize she is hoping to be first lady, not the cover girl for Senior Vougue. That said, I appreciate first ladies who bring taste and style to the White House. Both Obama and Mc Cain are attractive and well dressed, but Laura Bush will be hard to beat for likability. Her husband, another story...

Guess this is why they think the middle class is anyone making less than 5 million a year?

Out Of Touch!

I think as a public official its insulting to the people to overspend on your attire.

She looked good...no doubt.

But thats just tacky to do in bad times. Very tacky.

It's her money, she can do whatever she wants with it. This is still a free country after all. Many times dresses such as this are donated to a charity to be auctioned off.

Very classy! I think she has better taste in clothing than Michelle; Michelle looks frumpy to me.
