It doesn't.

Can you answer the questions that I asked you?

How does wear any clothes help you perform better at work?

How does wearing mens clothing (as opposed to women clothing) help you perform better at work?

I think we can agree that footwear is a necessity. Wearing a sports coat/blazer with a choking tie in the dead of heat isnt. Its just done because its perceived as "professional".

It doesn't and it doesn't.

I've answered 3 of your questions. Can you now answer mine? Are you able?

What a timely post. Thanks!

I just got home from Costco and got the groceries put away. While in the checkout line, I stood behind a man- not a boy, but a man in his late 20's or early 30's wearing pants so low on his hips he had to pull them up each time he unloaded something from the cart. Watching from behind, I noticed the pants had a lot of embroidery to the back pocket area. And I realized he wasn't wearing a belt for the pants that must have been a few sizes too big in the waist, while also being about a foot too short. I turned to my wife and said "Looks like someone put his short fat girlfriends pants on this morning". And that's all I have to say about that.

I'll take that as a "no". Put your jacket and tie on and scurry off to your 'real job'. I'm sure they won't be able to survive without your intellectual contributions.

Probably. Probably a few women think saggy pants guys look hot as well.

I wonder if guys in suits and ties think they look cool?
