Losing your hair. If this has started for you, at what age did you first notice it?

This is the darnedest thing - all of my uncles on my mothers side are bald, and started early, yet I'm 26 and am showing no signs yet.

I tell my wife "that's what I'm going to look like" whenever I see a bald man, but..nothing yet.

Hairline started to recede at 18. I'm 20 now. I was a little upset at first but I've moved past it. Planning on shaving it all in a couple of months. Black guys don't look all too bad bald anyway .

I've seen guys start balding as early as age 19, and some (Lebron James for example) at age 27. And, I once read something that said drinking caffeine, e.g. coffee or tea, helps to prevent it. So, remember, you don't judge a man by what he has on top of his head. You judge him by what he has inside of it.

When I was a teenager I knew I had a receding hairline, so I was going to gradually lose my hair, but I had a full head of super curly hair.

It really started to get noticeable when I was in my early-mid 20s. I stll have hair all over my hair, but you can see that it's falling out.

My assumption is by my late 30s I'll be bald on top. LOL

Why does hair length matter? It might matter to some sucker, who sees it as an advantage. But, to a real man, who knows how to treat a woman, it doesn't mean sh^t. Because, if she likes your style, it won't be a deal breaker.

Your going to go bald with your attitude and consistence of speaking it into existence.

I went to high school with a guy who had a noticeably receding hairline at 15. Ironically, he was one of the most crushed on guys in my group of friends. He buzzed it in college, which is generally the best idea when embracing the bald, but now his head looks like a potato.

On the other hand, my friend is dating a guy in his mid 20s who started balding in high school and how has a full on George Costanza pattern that he keeps short and I think he looks fabulous. Some guys look better than others, but there's nothing sadder than trying to hide it with a combover or hair piece. Just embrace it and face the music.

I'm not a guy, I think men who shave their heads are sexy. It takes some courage at first, but then you begin to look and feel more confident and it adds a little sex appeal as well.
