In my experience, excellent posture and a balanced build makes you far more physically imposing than height proper. I work around plenty of 6 foot plus individuals (muscular or otherwise) who are basically non-entities when it comes to physical presence.

However, if you have an habitually bad posture, it may take months to develop the muscle memory for this.
