Hey, even black leather pants could be worn in a corporate office like what the gals are wearing here at around the 55 second mark of vid. It can be appropriate.
don't usually green in this way, but it looks good...thought it would be dull until i changed youtube settings to 720p...surprised ....not all of them are wearing the same top too..a couple different styles when i looked at it closely..
I live in a place where most people wear very casual clothes. Just jeans or shorts or maybe jogging pants every day everywhere. I have so many pretty fancy clothes in my closet and would love to wear them but have no reason and would feel overdressed. I do not really have any special occasions coming up to give me an excuse to wear the pretty clothes. What should I do?
Does anyone else want to get dressed up but feel they can't because nobody else does?
I love to dress up. I don't really care what others think. You think I would feel bad because I was dressed nicer than everyone else? LOL!

I agree with you.
Although I definitely believe in dressing in casual comfort most of the time (but NOT to the point of wearing PJs outside my home!), I am certainly not part of the fashion police, and I think that people should have the right to wear what they want. However, I do like to dress up when I go somewhere very nice and not feel out of place!
I live in metro Denver, btw, and I would be interested in knowing if this "very casual attire no matter where you go" is the norm all over the U.S. now.
I envy asian countries for their commitment to fashion and their courage to look different. Even older Japanese women (this is the one example I have of this) are fine with coloring, styling, shaping, etc their hair and dressing younger if need be. Sometimes I roll my eyes at how stagnant/boring supposedly "freedom loving" Americans can be. Oh well! I do dress up if I see the occasion warrants it, but unlike in Asian countries, you can't find well made cheap clothes here, or if you do, it's all one or two brands. F21, H&M or Charlotte Russe. Blah. I wish there were more options here!

Thankfully, many of my shirts are from India. Well pattenerd and woven with good quality cotton. They are not all that cheap, however.
I love getting dressed up. I very rarely slick my hair back in a ponytail, throw some sneaks on and wear my workout clothes. I love jewelry, shoes, dresses, the whole enchilada. It makes me feel good and that's what's important!
