My DD and I were "hijacked" into buying this at a kiosk as we were getting to leave the mall. I know the buffer buffs our nails to a real nice shine, but does that little block last 2 years as we had been sold? Any extra benefits of the hand cream and cuticle oil over others, being that it is marketed as made out of minerals from the Dead Sea?

The Israelis who are at the kiosks can be aggressive! But I like the guys where I got my Seacret kit. I go out of my way to go visit them. We don't see many "foreigners" here in little ole redneck Lubbock, so they are fun to talk to, as I am planning a trip to Israel. But they are forever trying to sell something. One of them will actually get out in the aisle and in your face! But did buy the Seacret nail kit and really like it. That was six months ago, the little block still works well. And love the lotion.

I'm glad to know that I was not the only one who thought that lady from Israel was very aggressive! Tried the block on my toes last night...it did work but it took a long time to buff the big toe. LOL. Love the lotion as well..mine was Ocean, DD's was Kiwi. Guess I'll hang on to it for a while. Thanks for your feedback!

Over 15 years ago, I was in a Nieman Marcus -Houston and I was accosted my lovely little japanese women in kimonos. They grabbed by hand and started rubbing my nail with a soft chamoise like thing and putting a powdery paste over it. My nail was soft and lovely. I forgot all about the product. It sounds like the same thing. Wish I could remember what it was called.

I got bought the kit when shopping at the Mall of America. I used it for a while and now it just sits under the bathroom sink. I've never been a person who had nice fingernails, and I don't take the time to work on them. I like what the buffer does and I only wanted to buy the buffer when I was approached at the mall. They guy sold me the kit for $30 instead of the $60 he orignially asked for. I should've just said "no" and looked into finding it locally when I got back home.

my mom and i got suckered into spending $280 worth of their products.
i was curious to see how much we paid compared to how much we would have paid if we had gone on the website.
if we had bought it off the website we would have paid $310.
i guess we got a "deal" after all..

they tried to pressure me into buying the $ 59.00 kit and I told them I couldn't spend that much, they came down to $ 45 and I told them I didn't have that much in my checking account, got them down to $ 25 and used the buffer for several months, love the look of shiny, buffed nails.

then I noticed it was making my nails thin and brittle. I used oil and conditioned them for a couple of weeks, and tried the buffer again. Darned if I couldn't SEE the nail was thinner, and I have thin nails from wearing Acryilics for soooooo long ( over 10 years ago). when I broke a nail the next week, it broke REALLY short. Got mad and threw the buffer away.

Love the Ocean lotion, left it a my mom's for when I'm down there and the brat used it up!!!!
