OP it did not help matters that not one single one of those guys are good looking...so hair or no hair they are not attractive to me.

Looks are in the eyes of the beholder for sure!

I detest facial hair on a man...never have been a fan. I love a handsome smooth face. Yummy

My dad had a beard for most of my life but finally shaved it because it was mostly gray despite the hair on his head's having almost none.

Yeah but he's not the one who has to look at that face. His victims should get to input.

Better yet, should a man be clean shaven or just well groomed down there ? That's what we really need to know.

Probably too strong a statement to say all guys look better with a beard. Some, I guess, do. Certainly it depends on how well the beard is groomed.

And women are individuals, too. You grow a beard, you appeal more to some and less to others. A few may be indifferent.

Guys, if you want to try the bearded look, go for it, if it works for you, you'll know it. But if it does not work for you, face reality, and shave it off or at least re-shape it.

I'm a bit surprised at how many women these days hate a mustache without a beard or at least a goatee to go with it. Back in the 80's, a stand alone mustache was pretty common, I did one, and it didn't seem to hurt my dating prospects.

That's where I'm getting, my goatee is pretty damn salty these days and my head hair is mostly not.

Funny story; I bought some Just for Men recently to touch up the gray in my beard a little. I showed my wife and she said "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" and started cracking up.

That combined with the fact that the instructions said it could cause a rash on my FACE. lol

As for my hair, I've always said that it could turn purple for all I care as long as it stays attached to my head!

Mod cut: Quoted post has been deleted.

Interesting. I love the beard on my boyfriend and he loves that I don't wear makeup or rarely wear it. Maybe we are just au natural people. It's probably why we are naked so much.

[Mod cut.] My boyfriend cuts his hair short. So I guess we really aren't au natural. Oh well.

I prefer my husband with a smooth face. He thinks I look beautiful with or without makeup. I'm not going to assume that we speak for the entire human race.

Some of those before/after pairs are obviously photo-shopped.

Mean with weak chins look good with beards. Some of those examples are cherry-picked for that. It by no means "proves" that most men look better with facial hair.
