I don't get women who wear heels - very , very high heels - with nothing on their foot. I would have bloody ankles and toes if I didn't wear stockings.
My feet sweat too much to go without socks. Sandals? no socks, but I choose sandals with suede footbeds that absorb the sweat.

They're terribly ugly, but they're comfortable, and many of us with problematic feet swear by them. I don't wear them when I'm dressed up, but if I'm casual and expect to be walking a great deal, I'm definitely wearing my Sanitas.

Can't believe enough people wear clogs to justify an entire thread.
Unless "clogs" has several regional meanings?
Where I'm from clogs=wooden shoes used for Irish dancing or Dutch Christmas stockings and once in a blue moon worn by some random hippie at an art festival. Why anyone else is even thinking about clogs is beyond me.

The only clogs I wear are the rubber garden clogs in the garden, and I wear socks with those. But if I wore "regular" clogs I would wear thin socks with them. I do not like to go sockless except with sandals.

Clog and Birkenstocks-ugh. Sneakers, boots anything that covers my feet I wear socks. Anything open-no. Use something like Summer Soles if you are worried about sweaty/stinky feet.
