I've always carried my wallet in my back right pocket and never had a wallet fall out, must have something to do with a new fashion if all of a sudden guys are losing their wallets. While on infrequent occasions i dont mind putting my wallet in my front pocket i find the wallet catches on the steering wheel when i'm driving.
A wallet in the back pocket is secure. It probably felt strange at first, but now it's just part of the routine. In suit pants, I dislike it when I need to put my wallet in the front pocket. It's either going to fall out because its too loose, or bulge ridiculous if it isn't. Besides, that's where car keys and cell phones go.
I used to do this all the time until I realized the pickpocket issue. Also I can feel it too much while driving. It's just as bulky in the side pocket on jeans though. And with a cellphone it's a bit much.
Men.. what is the deal with this? Why in the world do so many men put their wallets in their back pocket. I can not tell you the amount of times I am notice men having their wallet fallout on their pants on the subway. In the last year I have had to toss wallets at guys accidently leaving their wallets on the subway train several times . Why do men think this is a good idea? Is there not a more secure place to put your wallet or should more pants have a back pocket with a cover or zipper to help kept these wallets in place. Is this a fashion trend or just poor judgement? Please explain.
Been carrying mine in my back pocket since 1975.....Never dropped or lost it.....
Really? A clothespin? It seems like that would be really uncomfortable.
Not at all. I take the clothespin and run a piece of thick string through it. The MetroCard holder has a key ring attached to it, so I set my key on the ring and run the piece of string through the other end and tie it off. I then turn my pocket inside out and pin it to the inside.
It's a little bit hard to describe without a picture, but trust me, it works fine. Whenever I need either my key or a MetroCard or ID card, I reach in, pull it out, do what I need to do, and put it back in, with the string still pinned to my pocket.
Ain't nobody is gonna take my wallet. They can try, but if they mess with me they are going to have a sudden encounter with my lightning!fast ninja karate. And that will be the last time they ever try that.
Yes, let's EVERYONE know how much you got and then you become a target.....
Small bills facing out and keep it in your pocket ... I see no problem.
