The outfit Melania Trump wore at the inauguration was just lovely. I guess she would have looked good in a trash bag, but she really looked nice. I hope she brings back gloves.

Mod cut: Orphaned (quoted post has been deleted).

I agree, gentlearts. She looked amazing. That dress made up for Ralph's uninspired Olympic team designs.

Mrs trump is so stylish. My immediate thought was that she reminds me very much of Jackie O.

Barron Trump was so cute. 10 years old and he was so serious and appropriate for the occasion.

Did they run out of material when they made the sleeves? Something about sleeves that length seems terribly unnatural...

But it was a nice shade of blue, and the lines of it were interesting. Plus, it looked like it would have been warm - probably important for her today.

I liked the outfit. Maybe dressing up will come back in style

Why? Because Mrs. Trump wore a nice dress?

Even if dressing up does come back in style, it won't matter to me. I am not giving up my ratty blue jeans and beat up Carhart jacket!

Until the parade. Then he came to life. He really loves a parade.

I can't wait to see what she wears for the first dance. I'm hoping it will be red, but she doesn't seem to favor red much. She's more into pastels, it seems. And white. That whole family loves white clothes.

Sorry, I was reading through all the drooling here (Oh, Mrs Obama is so fashionable... not so long ago) and could not resist but to take a look at that dress
Are you kidding? All it needs is olden Star Trek badge on it.

Otherwise, it's Claire Underwood right there.
