Well OP this will totally freak you out. I rarely use deodorant and rarely have any odor. I have some deodorant I can use if for some reason I feel I have an odor but on a daily basis no. I do bathe daily in the evening when my work in done. If I am filthy like today from shoveling wood chips I still did not smell but hated the sticky body feeling and the dirt all over me from the chips.
I am wondering if too much cleaning and washing is upsetting your natural balance and making more odor. I do know some people just have more body odor than others.
My skin is too sensitive and drys out too much to use the deodorant soaps.
Omg lol
But you have a good point maybe I'm just overdoing it so that could be why. I don't notice odor just wetness more but then again I have anxiety so when I'm nervous I sweat. Yeah I'm one of those
I use a crystal deodorant; it kills bacteria that cause smells. Lasts me all day, but I carry a small one in my purse just in case. Can also be used anywhere odor is a problem, not just under arms.
weird hygiene habits? Yes!
-I must wash my entire head (ears, neck, face, scalp) at least 3 times a day (short hair cut)
-carry baby wipes, to with the funk in my junk
-fragrant lotion arms, hands and face after washing
-cant stand for rough finger nails
just some hygiene steps I have , learned through life. I never want to be that stinky cheese guy!

This thread pops into my mind and causes me to think more on it. I wonder if you could actually be over washing and ruining the good?? vibes of your skin. Gads I can not think of what that is called. Flora? I used to do the deodorant thing every day just because every one else did. Then I got a psoriasis flair and some of it was under one arm pit and the deodorant just irritated it even more so I was forced to stop using it until the flair let up and that was about 3 years!!. UGH Please Lord do not let it come back. During the time I stopped using the Deodorant I noticed there really was no need for it. I am always good to shower and like some here some times twice a day. I can not stand to go to bed feeling sticky. Even if I do not smell.
I am not a fan of body powders. There is one Gold Bond medicated that has a cooling feel to it. Again it was used when the psoriasis was at its peek and I was desperate for some relief.
There are times I will use it when I know I am going to be put under stress. Hubby having a 10 hour operation at 72 years old comes to mind I used it that day. Also I lived 100 miles from the hospital. It was not like I could just pop home for a shower. I ended up staying at the hosp with him in intensive care for a second day before I got to go home and shower. THAT was a necessary need for it for me and I also think I took the wash up cloths to freshen during that time and more deodorant.
I do not like the wet feeling under my arms either but usually I do not get it even when I am working hard.

I love that stuff, been using it for years. Great for any sweaty creases.
I don’t believe in “over washing”. Like I mentioned in another thread about cleanliness, it is next to “Godliness” in my mind. No matter what you do, IMO, you should bathe at least once a day. And use some type of deodorant to mask the natural (stinky) smells your body produces throughout the day.

I don't use deodorant either. I am very natural in my approach to hygiene and am not a fan of myriad lotions and potions.
Shampoo
Olive oil soap for the dirtiest bits
Shave (if needed)
Unscented moisturizer for my body (if needed)
Rose hip oil for my face
Lip balm
Blow-dry hair (if needed)
Takes about twenty minutes from the time I step in the shower to fully dressed and walking out the door. If I'm going somewhere special, I might put on a bit of eye makeup and lip gloss, but otherwise, that's the extent of it.
YES!! I am meticulous and always have been. I use soap, then shower gel, and finish with some kind of sugar scrub.
I have to comment on the "no deodorant" trend. It's not working, people. Trust me, you have B.O. Even if you cannot smell yourself, the rest of us do! The home-made, natural stuff doesn't cut the odor or wetness.
