I love Eileen Fisher stuff. Never bought much of it because of the price point-- and it was a bit dressy for me. But love the style.
For suits, I was a Jones of New York person. But I also like Eileen Fisher. But being a person who dresses as low level as I can get a way with for a given occasion, EF was 1) always more than I wanted to spend -- AND 2) sort of 'dressy' for me. At that price point I'd be HIGHLY pihssed if it got messed up some how.
What other people say is their casual -- is still to dressy for me. I'm basically a totally dummy slouch, baggy clothes person (when I can).
Clearly not on all occasions. But day to day -- I'm as dummy as I can get away with. T-shirt and pull on knit pants.
I distinctly remember wearing a nice top to work one day....and I was too close to a file cabinet and it got snagged.
I was so pihssed -- that was the day I decided, "I'm not wearing my nice stuff to work ever again."
