My daughter just came back from her trip to Japan and brought some facial masks. What is the proper storage? Do you store them in the fridge?

We sometimes use them in the hospital I work at, when patients have potentially infectious conditions. They're kept in the manufacturer's box outside the patients' rooms. That's all.

I'm guessing that since this is the Beauty forum, the OP was referring to these kind of masks: https://www.sephora.com/shop/sheet-masks Unless they're referring to something else entirely.

If it's sheet masks, I don't keep them in the fridge, but I don't see why you couldn't. I just keep mine in the bathroom cabinet.

I don't think there's any need to refrigerate them if they're sealed.

They will say on the package if you need to refrigerate them. The only ones I have ever had to are ones from Lush, but they aren't sheet masks.

Refrigerate face masks and eye creams if you like how it feels, but know where to draw the line.
