For those who don't know, ARROW is a brand of clothing, mostly known for their dress shirts, although they make a few polo shirts as well. It is one of the "Heritage Brands" of PVH.
I was wondering, is that brand still relevant? PVH seems to do very little advertising for the ARROW brand in comparison to most of its peer Heritage Brands, and is mostly sold at Sears (although Kohl's still carries a few of their dress shirts). I'm really not sure if ARROW is really needed if PVH has Van Heusen, although ARROW is priced somewhat lower than Van Heusen.
Relevance is in the eye of the beholder, imo. Especially in fashion.
I just don't see much advertising or promotion of the ARROW brand in comparison to its peer Heritage Brands over at PVH. I know PVH acquired the brand back in 2004, but the brand seems to get little advertising. I'm not sure how the brand sells internationally.
I know Nautica has been in dire straits; leading VF to sell the brand to Authentic Brands Group earlier this year. Ever since David Chu sold the brand to VF, the brand has been completely mismanaged under VF's ownership. Time will tell if ABG can recover the brand. I don't see the brand at our local Macy's stores anymore.

What does "relevant" even mean when you're talking about a shirt? There are still shirts labeled "Arrow". I own a couple. I have no idea how they would compare against shirts with the same name made twenty, or forty, or eighty years ago, nor do I care. They seem to be OK shirts. Does that mean they are "relevant", or "irrelevant"?
If you want to be specific, as long as products with the brand name are available for sale, wouldn't that kind of be "relevance" by default? One can say Hupmobile for example is "no longer relevant".
