How cool. That's one great thing about fashion, what you wear will eventually come back into style again.

Our grandparents clearly know what’s up in the style department. After all, their beloved trends are basically going mainstream these days. In fact, grandma dressing is increasing in popularity for fall 2019: We’re talking tweed, knee-high socks, and so on. But grandma isn’t the only one making waves—grandpa is too. Yep, I can’t thumb through Instagram these days without spotting an It girl wearing “grandpa” jeans.

Same here, those young women wearing jeans look like they were spray painted on, and one wonders how they can walk in them. Most however, are not wearing jeans, but yoga pants, most with areas of netting "windows" on them.

Anything too make a buck. Will be priced three times what they should be.....just like ripped jeans. People of a certain age, with too much money to waste.

It's called fashion is out of novel ideas so let's rehash something from the past. This is done a lot in fashion and other job sectors.

How many times have you seen an article about a new style craze and never see it out in the real world?

Grandpa jeans look just like the relaxed jeans my grandma wears.....no shape, loose but not baggy, & dyed in that faded blue wash.....

Boyfriend jeans are MUCH better.....but no offense to my grandma....(she looks very nice in her jeans)......it’s just not a style I’ve seen yet.....& kinda doubt it makes it as a younger style.....

Oh how cool!

So this means my Riggs utility carpenters I've been wearing for the last 10+ years are suddenly fashionable. I love being ahead of ma$$ media trends.

Only my grandad would have worn them, he'd be rocking the Army camouflage BDU cargos.

Grandpa never would have spent that much money for a pair of britches.
