^^^The white blazer blouse showed the shoulders pads through the material. That wasn't a good look - it kind of cheapened it. I don't know if the same is true for other colors but I would stay away from anything where the shoulder pads were visible. I've watched many of the videos by her but this was the first time her tattoos were visible. That was a let down.
The outfits toward the end of the video looked much better. I liked the white sweater dress. Even when I was younger I wanted to be comfortable (not cold) when getting dressed for holiday parties and sweater dresses with a little bling going through them in gold or silver threads were usually my choice.
Silk is also fussy. I tend to sweat under the arms and that makes for ruining a silk blouse. Then you have to buy those underarm protectors...no thank you. Too much work.
Two more styles of silk blouse from LilySilk in this video. They also do cashmere and wool pieces, some of which are showcased in this video. I like the reversible wool blanket scarf in camel and grey. A new 15% coupon code offered at the end.
But the item I liked best was a pea coat from the French brand Saint James in Normandy, which is where Marie-Anne lives. Hmm, I wonder if they have a factory discount store there.
Yes! In dark gray(it is silver or steel color that I love) or navy blue or both.
I might just do it.
You will wear it more often as they go with everything.
The big plus for me is - this shirt has hidden or the same color as material buttons.
I do not think the 2nd one is too boxy, I think the model is wearing a size too big. I think in general the 2nd one is more versatile than the 1st one myself. The first one is beautiful and classy but wouldn't work for date night as it's too prissy and it wouldn't work in warmer climates. It also wouldn't flatter a woman who looks better in open necklines. The 2nd one can be worn for business wear as well as date night depending on how the neckline is adjusted. However, despite that, I actually don't like the fact that it has the possibility of falling open. I don't know if it has a snap or button to close it but personally I would close it up and just wear it like a V-necked blouse.
That's why I usually sew a snap inside such styles.
