I tried a different roll-on and felt stinging on the 2nd day. I stopped as directed. A couple of days later I noticed that my underarms were burnt. I have never experienced this or know of anyone who has. However, the manufacturers of the deodorant knows because they cover their butts by putting the disclaimer on the bottle. Although, it is going away slowly it sucks having ugly underarms. Any recommendations on clearing it quickly will be considered.

Try putting Eucerin on it. I had to use a Eucerin based product to heal burns from radiation. There are also roll ons that don't have aluminum...you can tell which ones they are because they have the pink breast cancer ribbon on the container.

Hey, I just had that for the first time about a month ago. I was using "Mitchum gel" and the one I had was almost empty. I finished it up after a bath and felt such burning under my arms. The next day I lifted my arms up and had burn streaks under them. It was so weird and kind of painful! It took about 5-7 days for the burns to go away. My theory is there is something in the gel that was concentrated at the bottom (you can't shake-up and remix gel) so when I used the final bit of it I got a whopping dose of whatever this chemical is. I tried some other deoderants but they didn't work as well so I'm on the "Mitchum roll-on" now and so far, so good. I shake it up good before I use it.

If it itches, you could try Benedryl...it puts me to sleep...a doctor might prescribe a Z-pack of Prednisone for really bad itching. Yeah, test on the inside of your forearm before using. But you never know...the older I get the more various allergies crop up...even to stuff I hadn't been allergic to before. I am terribly allergic to Degree antipersperent....even the adhesive on some band-aids.
It sucks getting old!

You are far braver than me, I threw it out. Hope it does not happen to you again, or will you stop when you are close to the end.

I guess I wasn't clear. I was at the end of a Mitchum GEL. I bought a brand new Mitchum ROLL-ON.

You obviously had a bad reaction. You can apply a steroid cream, like hydrocortisone to the affected area. That should help with the inflammation. Good luck.
