Hyaluronic acid works by stimulating growth of new cells deep in the dermis layer of the skin. If there's an explosion of creation the "babies" rise to the surface faster than they mature and the result is redness, soreness and bumps that appear to be acne.
Most dermatologist suggest cutting back your use to several times a week until your skin adjusts to the ingredient. For me it went on with no further use for six weeks. While advised to re-initiate use, I've decided not to hurt my face anymore.
I'd suggest reading what you can find about hyaluronic use and rash, then maybe consulting with a dermatologist.
