I've always wanted to try a stain, since I'm not a big fan of lipstick and lip gloss just makes me shudder. But I don't know where to find any!

Do you use lip stain and/or where can one find it?

I saw on some talk show that you can use red colored jello to stain your lips. Just dip your finger, a Q-tip, lip brush, etc in a bit of jello powder mixed with a bit of water.
Also the lady said to take a soft toothbrush and vaseline-- rub gently over lips and it plumps up the lips. I tried it and it works.

If you're looking for a less expensive lip stain, check out the Just Bitten line by Revlon. Anything else I can recommend for you is more professional-based and very expensive ($30-$50+ per container).

I think moisture with some sort of natural oil and benefits tint are a great combo. You can use it on your cheeks too. Its a very natural looking red. I am really pale and the tint looked good to me on everyone of my friends that tried it. Which was pretty amazing to me as it was a really mixed races/skin tone lot of folks. That NEVER happens with any beauty product. LOL

Organic food grade coconut oil and beet powder would be a natural option.

BeneFit's Benetint is okay but the best stain I've used is Vincent Longo's Liquid Kiss. The color is perfect and the stain isn't at all drying.

Went to the store today and all they had was the Blood Orange colour for the Just Bitten line, and they're not getting another shipment. Laame.

I think I might check out that BeneFit stain, because I'm super pale as well. I was afraid some might look too artificial. I think I'll check out the organic food-grade coconut oil/beet powder thing as well, as I like organic stuff.

Thank you all for your suggestions!

I'm sorry that the Just Bitten line didn't work out for you.

Do you know if they're discontinuing the line? Because there were stickers saying it was the last chance to buy the product...

Their website (http://www.revlon.com/ProductCatalog/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=33 - broken link) mentions that it is a limited edition (of which I never knew...) item.
