Need help on shrinking clothes.

Can't you just return them? Trying to "shrink" them isn't going to make them fit correctly!

If it's something not that expensive but you like them, I would go ahead and risk just washing them in hot water and even drying in the dryer. If the material is comprised of cotton or partially cotton, that's probably going to get you where you need to be.
