Which brand stays on all day and doesn`t fade? What brands have shadows that are not glittery?

I am really pleased with Bobbi Brown. Some of hers has a little sparkle, but it really looks good. She creates a lot of things for people her age--50's. Her shadows are long lasting and I don't have it all over my face.

I love Covergirl eyeshadows. They aren't glittery (not to me they aren't) and have lots of colors to choose from. But I wear a lot of the neutral shades and light brown shades. They look so natural. And they stay on for a long time, until you wash them off.

Yes, I like B Brown as well. I may try L'Oreal tho. I've seen some colors of theirs I like.

Most shadows will stay in place if you buy a eyeshadow primer and apply it to the lid before you put the eyeshadow on.

Also dampen your eyeshadow brush a little and that will make the color pop.

Check out Youtube for makeup tips.

I use L'Oreal and Ulta brand eyeshadows. I've been please with their staying power. They have different ones to choose from that are sparkly or matte finishes.

I also have the problem of eyeshadow fading, and creasing as well. I use Covergirl eyeshadows (can't beat the price but I personally don't find the quality to be very high), but am going to try other brands.

I use a concealer as a sort of primer for my shadow-is this as effective as priemr itself?

with powder shadows, a primer is a must. In the absence of primer, I have used liquid foundation. It was not as good as primer, but better than nothing.

I find Covergirl to be a little bit too powdery, and I end up with it all over my face. L'oreal is pretty good. I detest Maybelline products, for no other fact than I can not stand the way they smell! haha so I've never used their shadows.

Seems almost every shadow I come across either sparkles or is dead flat. I'm on the lookout for shadows that are luminous but not exactly sparkly. As I'm 38, I don't have wrinkles as such, but I notice my eyelids are juuuuust starting to get that crepe-y look to them (despite eye cream rituals.....you age, it happens. Can't fight it forever!)

My mom has always used Mary Kay and Avon products. she always looks a million bucks.

Even though I can't wear eyeshadow too often these days (I work in a clean room, no makeup allowed), I love Ulta's line of eyeshadows.

MAC. I have pretty much all their eyeshadows and they have very matte - no sparkle whatsoever, to highly sparkly. I wear a lot of different shadows, and sometimes I just don't feel like glitter and sparkle. But, sometimes I do. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.
