I don't think I've ever seen a woman wearing pantyhose whose legs weren't enhanced by them. I definitely think it makes her look sexier, especially as she's sliding them off.
I dont think that women look sexier at all in pantyhose. This could be because I live in a rather warm (Los Angeles) area and rarely ever see women wearing pantyhose so I kind of equate pantyhose to old ladies. My grandma and mother would wear pantyhose.
Definitely, but I think that wearing leggings as pants and wearing stilettos with everything are considered sexy as well, so I can't be asked for fashion advice.
Your observation is region specific. Old women wear them around here, but 30-somethings are (at this point, were might be a better word, because I'm referring to my teachers in elementary/middle school) just as likely to wear them as well. I never got the whole "granny panties" impression, but I did get the "refined, mature" impression.
In some other places, mostly Europe and Japan, pantyhose is probably as common there as they were in the U.S. during the 70s, so you can assume that Russian or Japanese men are more likely to find pantyhose sexy (as opposed to grandma-ish) compared to American men.
o.k., I'll admit these couple of threads in here is the first I've heard this viewpoint... dare I ask- since when are pantyhose considered unpopular, oldfashioned, etc.? gotta admit it's been so long since I've worn a dress or skirt that I've never heard there being anything negative connected to them...
& on an even dopier note, what's the alternative?
I mean I personally wouldn't consider dressing up and then putting bare-feet into shoes...
yes, they're sexy. I wear skirts and dresses without pantyhose only when my legs are tanned. I haven't hit the beach yet this year so I am all for a pantyhose. I don't see anything wrong with wearing a pantyhose but I see plenty of wrong seeing women without them on, legs white, veins here and there, scars from shaving
you're right though. Pantyhose is more in and considered normal in Europe (haven't been to Japan yet), but also American women in general are way more casual in the way they dress and carry themselves.
Speaking of tans, why the heck are tans considered attractive?
Its rather funny. In the west people want to be tan, in the east people want to be butt white and avoid the sun.
