DC, just visited Rogers a little via google street view....saw the brick streets in the (very nice!) downtown, looked at the library. It looks like a nice one...I love libraries. I could stay in one all day.

I would like to visit Rogers someday. I've never been there. Been to Fayetteville and Springdale. Loved Fayetteville......Springdale, not so much, except for the awesome Jones Center.

Crystal Bridges is also on my want-to-visit list.

I actually think I like the square in Bentonville as well or better than Fayetteville and Rogers really has a neat downtown, though a little different. To me, the best part of Springdale is the Nationals stadium and my favorite Chinese grocery store. Actually not Chinese, but Asian. They have items from all over Asia.

OP blames "bullies" on this board for doing EXACTLY what he/she is doing.

it's his/her way or the highway.

Perception is everything and OP perceives things differently than others, unfortunately that makes OP think he/she is correct.

I hated Chicago the 2 times I visited it and I too am sick of snow.

I'm looking for a home near the U of A, preferably walking distance. I'd like to rent it out to students until I'm ready to leave Phoenix for good.

If anyone has any leads on FSBOs or realtors specializing in this type of housing, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.

OP has overblown every possible perceived negative about the region in multiple posts, yet wonders why people respond negatively.

Disagreeing with you isn't "bullying".

I have no desire to live in Chicago. I've visited a few times. The city has a horrendous murder rate and the winters are brutal. But home is home, I guess. We love NWA and are happy living here. Fayetteville is a wonderful town with a lot of big-city perks, but very close to some of the best nature within 500 miles. Is it perfect? No, but show me one place that is.

OP is very obviously just unhappy and feels powerless to change her situation. We've become her personal sounding board for all of her displeasure with her current situation.

Oh yep. I am a troll. Look at my posts and reps and compare them with yours. NWA is a beautiful region, and a great place to live. Is it perfect? No, but it beats many places of the country.

I am not sure she understands the word "TROLL" she has called many on here Trolls, regardless of how long they have been posting or what they are posting about.

I've used the word one other time. I know what it means. Maybe flaming would have been more accurate.

You will love Crystal Bridges. The trails are wonderful, the museum is wonderful. And it's so close to the Bentonville Square, which I think you'd love.

Springdale's downtown is being revitalized. You should revisit sometime.
