Dumb question but I'll be backpacking the area this weekend and am just curious how much if any rain you have had this week. I saw the forecast was scattered showers all week....just wondering if they actually hit. Thanks....

Not much at all, a sprinkle here and there. It builds up near Flag but never seems to hit us. The forecast looks more favorable for rain this weekend. I use the Silverbear site for my Sedona forecast.

We did get two sets of showers on Tues. night, one around 3am. There were still puddles in the parking lot of the PO when I went yesterday morning. I was just out on the trails this am and they were dry. My guess (or maybe it's hope ) is that we will get some rain in the next couple of days. Right now it's quite cloudy.

I guess my vibe was right...it is pouring and in the 60's....this is the third hard rain of the day....they don't call me psychic for nothing.

I assume the OP isn't having a great time backpacking today.
