Problem with Ormand beach is its basically north Daytona and the beach is bordered by high rise Hotel/condo or private houses where as the Flagler area is devoid of any dwellings on the beach side of the road except the pier ,and its still what i'd call a small beach town.however thats changing fast. do a google image search to get an idea of what various communities look like or Google street views
