I go on the Doenetwork.org on a regular occasion and every time they have a new case on the site it's a lot of them are from Florida. Why is this? Is Florida really that dangerous to live at?

more people = more people going missing.. I mean florida has a lot of crime, but if you mind your own and live somewhere thats not hella ghetto, your fine... There are places here that are extremely safe.

I've never been to the site you mentioned but I think unidentified deceased people are more common here than other states. I chalk that up to the transient population. There are many people that live here basically by themselves. The majority of their family lives in other areas of the country and are not available to report the people missing right away or to identify the remains.

I bet there are also a lot from NY, Texas and California. States with higher population have higher numbers of missing people.

People seeking to escape life, the family, the law etc pack up and start moving south. They end up in Florida since they can't go any further south.

A lot of those folks wind up in situations where trouble is the norm.

No where is this more evident than Key West. Years ago, before the internet, I was in the ER talking with an ER nurse. She had a NATIONWIDE booklet of missing persons she was flipping through. Page after page she recognized someone. It was creepy.

Reporting unidentified bodies is not required by law, some places don't have the technology or resources or simply are too lazy to enter all cases in the national database.
