I would caution anybody moving anywhere, but SWFL is very expensive compared to many places and FL crime is a real issue. Don't expect to to come to SWFL as a "hippie, homeless" and be well treated. Just being direct. I am not judging your situation. I would caution you not to go from the frying pan to the fire. Try to get a plan and get information. Pinellas does better w/ homeless so I have been told. Be careful.
The ranch mentioned doesn't appear to be listed here. As a side-note, every time I have been to the Keys, the mosquitoes are horrible. KW is the only key I have seen w/o this issue. I would also check out WOOF(it isn't free) and make arrangements well in advance, otherwise you risk being turned down when you show up. Good Luck.

Well I appreciate the help and opinion but I dont really have much of a choice. I either find somewhere I can camp out before I get down there or just be without shelter. As far as the website goes I appreciate the link it might prove useful if I can find a place that will allow me to bring my dog

Good luck. Might want to also check out homelessforums.org
Also there are places you can camp for free. Do a search for those.

And id watch out who you kick when your down, I might not be able to kick your ass over a computer but why dont you try calling one of my fellow homeless "dead beat" friends names and see if they dont beat your ass where you stand. Don't enter a forum where people are looking for help just to be a jackass, its really not cool. It shows your more of a dead beat then me and any other homeless person I know who doesnt have time to talk **** over a computer. We are a little more worried about where we gonna sleep at night. But thanks anyways Mr. Kurtz, I know you were just trying to help. Hah *****

You could hang out at the the drum circles at various beaches. There are hippies that attend.
