A very overpriced coral rock in the Atlantic.

Nice suburb of Orlando where that small town feeling still exist and you know your neighbors. Guess I'll keep it a secret.

On the new East side of Orlando. We have new roads, beautiful landscaping, well-planned green areas with convenient but new and beautifully clean shopping, nice restaurants and good schools. I have access to the 417, the 528 and the 408 within 5 minutes of my home and taking these roads takes me most anywhere in the central Florida area within about 30 minutes or less. I am about 10 minutes from OIA, 35 minutes to Cocoa Beach, 20 minutes to Universal, City Walk and Sea World and 30 minutes from all the Disney Parks.

I lived in Winter Park for almost 20 years and while it was charming and quaint....I really enjoy living here more.

A high-crime, concrete jungle that still manages to have some redeeming factors.

hot & humid 9 months of the year, nice weather Jan-April, bad drivers, #1 Rudest Drivers in the Country, hispanic culture dominates, high prices for everything (I read yesterday we pay 30 cents more for milk than other parts of the state), green year round, two seasons (uggh can't wait till Jan for constant cool weather), close to the ocean, great place to vacation, palm trees everywhere, the best clubs/bars in the state, best dining and shopping in the state, corruption at every level of government

Beautiful, safe, good schools, good weather, nice people, a little crowded in the winter.

Here are our City Data stats
The urban population is about 10,000.
The town (located on Amelia Island, northeast Florida, north of Jax) is growing. There are young families as well as retirees. Weather is hot in summer but there are seasonal changes, this is north Florida.
Schools seem to be pretty good. The political mood is varied; I haven't quite sussed it out yet--it is not super liberal, but is by no means a complete good ol' boy situation.
There is an historic downtown, a state park, and there are lovely beaches.
It can be touristy in the summer. There are really good restaurants, especially sushi.
There is a lot of volunteerism and people devote effort and money to the arts.
I am very excited about the Amelia Island Film Festival. There is also the Shrimp Festival, Jazz Fest and the Book Festival.

It's a geriatric's paradise but a young person's hell. The type of small city that is starting to have too much urban sprawl and unreasonable house prices. Bad traffic and congested highways.
