People were promised global warming. Now, after a few years living with hope for a better life, they realize that the only way to live in a warm climate is to move there.

Come to Indiana then
Its not too cold like Alaska/Minnesota or the northeast but its not blasting hot like in the south and our state is prepared for whatever mother nature throws at us Plus if it does snow up here we arent caught with our pants down like the South is.
Also should mention Indiana is more affordable to live in than Flordia and our economy is stronger with more jobs. Cost of living is about 15% lower and Real Estate is atleast 25% lower if not more.
Best of all no Hurricanes up here and Lake Michigan is the best ocean substitute around.

But maybe when these come around we wont be getting all that arrogance/snobby crap.

Tropical cyclone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As if Katrina and Sandy werent bad enough.
Imagine a Katrina strength hurricane or even a Cat 5 hitting Miami.

oh please
we're poking light-hearted fun. Lighten up.

"getting all that arrogance/snobby crap" is a bit extreme, hun.

I think we all need to agree that Winters in FL are more pleasant. Duh. we all know that and yes FL can have horrid weather come summer time and hurricane season. we know that, but it's the risk we take. Let us have our moment in the sun. Thanks.

Woot Woot I might get to see the sun tomorrow as our forecast is Mostly Cloudy with a little pic of the sun next too it. Wednesday is partly cloudy, so even more chance of some sun. And other than today my forecast is showing no snow and highs near or over 40.

My Florida urge is lessening. But hey more pictures wouldn't hurt

Yeah, even in Sarasota it's only 50 degrees at 10:00 a.m., and will only be in the high 60s for highs all week. going to be a cool one here.
