WOW! The medical reports show TM was on drugs that night. Now THAT is interesting.

And now we have SEVERAL witnesses saying the screaming voice was Z-man.

And the police officer confirmed TM's father stated that it was NOT TM screaming for help.......originally.

Hmmmmmmmm........

It doesn't have to be widespread. It only has to be a concern for the jurors. If "they" feel they will be targeted, it could sway their decision. It has happened before.

Pot. I think the defense made a mistake putting TM's father on the stand. They already made the point that to cops heard him say it wasn't TM's voice so what was there to gain? Instead, he gets up there and said he never said no, it wasn't TM, only that he couldn't easily tell. Plus, the prosecution hammered home how emotionally difficult it was fr him to lose his son. It was a bonehead move. Nothing gained and it gave the jury more reason to be sympathetic to the prosecution's case.

Like I said before, the only thing I would have done on the defense is say "defense rests". The prosecution already proved the defense case. Why open it up to anything else?

That is interesting. I suppose if he had not smoked pot that night he probably would not have had a need to run down to the 7/11 for some munchies. If he had not smoked pot at the young age of 17 he would probably be alive today. This clearly will exonerate Z-man, what jury in the world would convict a guy who killed a 17 y.o. kid who was smoking a little weed.

BTW, aren't you in favor of legalizing marijuana?

When did they confirm that Trayvon Martin was "on drugs?" Have I missed something or did the judge allow testimony that we haven't yet heard? Maybe that was today and I missed it.

From what I recall, the medical examiner's report showed there was a small, insignificant trace of marijuana in Trayvon Martin's blood which could have been from smoking it weeks earlier. No marijuana was found on Trayvon Martin the night of the shooting. Plus, we all know how violent it makes people, right?

Can someone tell me if the prescription meds George had been prescribed were brought up at all during this trial? If not, then isn't this a bit hypocritical? Lately there have been several reports about prescription drug abuse and their negative side effects. Again, if the reason the judge ruled that the defense can show that TM had traces of marijuana in his system is because it's illegal, it's total hypocrisy, considering that some states have legalized it. Maybe if GZ had a little weed that night, he wouldn't have been so agitated.

So if GZ is acquitted it's because he's not guilty and if he is convicted, it's because the jury is too afraid to let him walk? I see.

Sure, you mean in the Casey Anthony trial? She was the most hated woman in America and she was found not guilty, wasn't she?

How is it hypocrisy if it is illegal here? I am all for legalization in limited fashion but at this point it is illegal and it has no bearing that other states have legalized it.
