Nope. I very rarely change my mind individual policies. I have always been anti-war, pro business, anti-capital punishment, pro protecting life, pro "reasonable" gun control, anti-big government, pro states rights as long as it does not interfere with individual rights, pro gay rights, pro legalized prostitution and pro legalized pot.

It's not flip flopping to have some liberal ideas and some conservative ones, it's actually how I believe most people feel and if embraced it would create a legitimate 3rd party for us libertarians.

There's too much money tied into the two party system for there to ever be a serious third. IMHO, you'd see the electoral college dissolved before you'd see a serious third party candidate win, at least in today's world.

Also, there are some "ideas" that contradict others, without giving many examples and starting a political debate that will only get all of these posts deleted, I'll say, for example, being in favor of states rights, but then saying the government should oversee it protect other rights. Or, for example, being okay with one or two drugs being legal, but not all, ect, ect.

Religiously, I don't believe in gay marriage, however, as a citizen, I believe it should be legal because it violates civil rights for it not to be. I believe that a premeditated or heinous murder should be put to death, I can't fathom the reasons why someone would want to keep the likes of Ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dalmher alive and breathing the same air as everyone else. So, obviously I get your point, and possibly I chose poor wording in my reply to Prius.

I just stated pot, but I would legalize, regulate and tax all drugs.

The interesting thing is that you think you are unique in that. Most people dont agree 100% with either of the conventional party's platform. Like most things in life you have to take the good with the bad, for example you cant be anti-big government but pro universal health care. The reality of our current political system is that you vote for one of the two conventional parties or you throw away your vote.
