Sorry if i offended you. I should have been more polite.

But I do stand by the statistics I presented...homicide stats are not like opinion polls.

I understand your point, but your statistics are based upon population size,
which is based upon the census,
which uses data extrapolated from polls;

we don't actually count how many people live everywhere,
but we do actually count dead bodies.

We all have the right to bear Arms. Being armed in the home is a good thing if people are responsible.

In terms of perceived safety, FL *feels* more dangerous overall than CA, NY, IL, and even TX, esp. in the "nicer" areas--lots of ghetto thugs, shady transients, pedophiles, redneck or gangster teens with nothing better to do, ex-drug addicts, etc.

The one thing worse than crime is the fear of crime.
Crime can just as easily be avoided in Florida as in any other part of the world by follow some simple precautions - stay out of dodgy neighbourhoods, don't buy drugs from strangers,keep your valuables safe and protect yourself and your home.
But equally as important is to remember that the chances of becoming a randomless victim of crime is very low.

I pray to God I never have to use it but I thank the Lord that I have the weapon and the training to use it.
So, if someone is threatening your family, they wont have trouble with you slipping away for a minute to go grab your sealed gun? Sounds like you will be safe.

So, what you're telling us is, that cities with a much bigger population than any city in Florida has higher murder rates? And that has to do with the lack of CCW and not the fact that, well, the population is much higher than any city in Florida? Seems legit.

#1 on that list is Camden, NJ. Population 77,250. Do you think that is bigger than any city in Florida?

Read the link, and read my post again. This isn't even the list about murder rates!
