Because Calo only has LA, San Diego and San Francisco as a focal point.

In Florida we have The Keys, which don't even have their own section.

We have Miami and Fort Lauderdale which are so close they are in the same metro area, but they are different and each have major populations.

We have the Tampa area that is large,

We have Jacksonville which I read is the larges city by area.

We have Orlando which is one of, if not the biggest tourism location in the world. Disney being one of the most famous recognized brands in the world.

We have Pensacola which is in the central time zone.

We have Gainesville, West Palm Beach, Naples. Tallahassee, etc.

I happen to think it's great.

I love Florida, but it does get a bad rap about many things because people are jealous of it.

Mountains are tough to get in FL.

...as are a lot of the other things people seem to think they will find here. Often they want conflicting things, like a poster a while back who wanted to live in a bustling downtown area but not be subjected to noise. Anyone grounded in some kind of reality would know that there are no "hurricane-free" zones (if there were, we'd all live there).

Some people think we will greet them at the border like Mr. Rourke and Tattoo greeting guests as they arrive at Fantasy Island.

An argument could be made that a lot of the Florida forums traffic is repetitive, that it has a lot of these same postings in multiple fora made without the poster looking to see if the question has already been answered, or (more likely) they could get adequate information by synthesizing information from several similar posts. The mods frown on members posting similar inquiries across multiple fora, but it happens.
