A lot of people think "OH real estate thats a good career, I could make some money.. wow imaging getting 6% of a million dollar listing"

But you are working weekends, taking calls at dinner, paying your dues to work on high end properties. You end up selling trailers on the edge of no where. And lots of tire kickers, people want to see inside the house for sale down the street

When economy is good, you dont have to do much... but with economic downturns you have to work harder and market better. Many people dont know how to save during good time to take you through lean times...

my friends parents owned a real estate agency and they saved during good time so during down times they were able to use savings to go on extended trips... good for us in high school... their house was the party house
