If you wanna see the "quiet old wealthy families" then Jupiter Island is the destination. No new money allowed.... mostly.

They let Tiger Woods in so it can be done, but I hear you. I like the restaurants along the inlet across from the Lighthouse. I love to snorkle in that little outcove off the inlet...Eagle Rays there, and lots to see. Love Jupiters beach too. Is Tiger's new bar still open? I read about the lawsuit. Kind of loud raucus place for me, but cool vibe for sure. I like the hotel bar across from the beach too...Hilton???

Did you know they have poisenous Toads there? Beware! They kill Dogs. Certain times of year, they're everywhere just after dark. Jupiter's cool...if you can afford it...and you have to own Dicks Sporting Goods, or some big box like that, to afford it. Tons of PGA golfers there too...sorry they don't give lessons to hackers like you!

Toads rarely kill dogs... little dogs maybe. My dog crunches them and then goes to the pond.

I occasionally go to https://www.guanabanas.com/ when guests are in town. My haunts are north of there around Manatee pocket.

Click on the link above...toads DO kill Dogs, but your are right, mostly small dogs. Dont let large Dogs near them either though.

Yeah, I've been to Guanabanas once, but only at lunch, not later when things get good. I have family in Jupiter at Jonathan's Landing who took us there. Might be there in 4 weeks, so will go back again after dark.

I'm not familiar with Manatee pocket. I'll look it up.
I'm always looking to learn more about Florida.
