Thanks for posting. I wonder if one of these contacts develops COVID-19 if President Trump will self quarantine, like Ted Cruz.

lmao. You're funny. Tent cities are for the homeless -- not sick people.

No. They were building them for the refugees a couple years ago. Not just homeless.

And those refugees seeking refuge are what? That’s right, Aax, they are homeless. Otherwise they wouldn’t live in tent cities.

Hopefully, people are using hand sanitizer immediately after shaking hands. Greeting lines with President Trump hand-shaking such as occurred in Florida may soon be eliminated, perhaps due to a paucity of willing participants, given the increase in other efforts to preempt the spread of the novel coronavirus.

<<President Donald Trump's incoming chief of staff, U.S. Rep. Mark Meadows, said Monday that he is under self-quarantine after possibly "coming into contact" with a person who tested positive for COVID-19.

Meadows, R-North Carolina, has tested negative for the disease but will remain at home until Wednesday "out of an abundance of caution," Meadows' chief of staff, Ben Williamson, said in a statement Monday.>>

U.S. universities increasingly are eliminating in-person classes.

https://www.npr.org/2020/03/09/81375...to-coronavirus

Ohio State, with one of the largest U.S. campus enrollments, just eliminated in-person classes at least through March 30 even though there have as yet been no confirmed COVID-19 cases at Ohio State or even in Columbus (three have been confirmed today in Cleveland's Cuyahoga County).

With this action, it becomes harder to understand how spectator events such as pro sports and March Madness events will be allowed to continue in Ohio, and perhaps elsewhere. Ohioans also as a result may be less willing to travel to Florida and other locations for spring break.

Florida has several large university campus enrollments.

COVID-19 concerns are mounting in Florida's Capitol.

Israel has announced mandatory quarantine for all arrivals on international flights. How would imposing similar quarantine requirements in Florida or the U.S. in general impact Florida's theme parks and other international tourist attractions?

Italy lockdowns the entire nation.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/09/europ...ntl/index.html

Worries persist that similar lockdowns are inevitable in the U.S., at least in certain states. Much will depend on what expanded U.S. testing reveals about the spread of COVID-19 throughout the U.S. and about changes in the reported rates of infection in coming weeks.

Well since the highest percentage of people effected by this virus are the elderly, i wonder how it'll effect the snowbirds as they go back and forth between FL & NY which are now both effected.
