It's all on the up and up until you are flagged and investigated. Then you are caught taking advantage of state and federal residency qualifying economic programs designed for full-time residents.
Good luck taking advantage of the system, I and another have advised you against it. Our hands are clean.

I had to have a voter registration card to get my drivers license. I think I needed four different things to switch from a SC license to Florida.
Keep in mind because a Florida Drivers License is a 'real ID' the requirements are stricter.

Not true. I bought and registered my car in FL even though I had an out of state drivers license. I didn't get my FL drivers license for more than a year after my car was registered (and insured) at my FL address.
