Looks like they are going to be roasting up in NJ this weekend! They'll be almost 10 degrees warmer up there. My friend is the ocean breeze down here.

yah but NJ doesn't stay hot and humid (80s and 90s) for 313 days a year like we did in 2007 in Miami.

NJ gets hot for a few days and then cools down again (not like FL), plus it doesn't stay hot at night like in Florida.

It was 101 in the Virginia Beach area on Saturday!! Broke the old record set in 1899. We are on about 5 or 6 days of upper, upper 90's. Very strange for early June.

If I can handle this, Florida will be a piece of cake

There is a difference of handling these extreme heats for a few days or even a month up north than having it for 313 days like we had it in 2007 in Miami. Anyone can deal with it for a short period of time, knowing that fall or spring will cool things off. I would rather take a place with seasons than a place with just summer year round like it is in South Florida.
