Hi pink80..
where do you live? are jobs that hard to find for truck drivers?
none at all? i know it's slow in every state, but florida with all the tourism. seems unreal. how about any jobs? paying $10hr if i have to take something.
for health reasons i have to move to a warmer climate. my arthritis is very bad up here in ny in the winter time so i must get out by the winter.
Thank you.

If warmer weather is what your searching for, you could also try Texas which has an abundance of truck driver jobs.

Hi Daily Journalist.
No texas for me..can't stand the state.
always liked florida. i go o florida about 2 times a yr for vacation.
as for the crime,it's all over. can't hide from it and i wont hide from it.
i would think with all the tourism in florida trucks have alot of cargo to bring into the state.
Thank you.

If your heart is set on moving to Florida then my advice is to just go for it. The worst that can happen is that it will take you a while to find your ideal job. If that happens Florida has an abundance of low-wage ($7-$10) service jobs you can take.

You will find the most jobs in the major cities, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, Miami. Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral is a great place but since it is a beach town keep in mind that jobs will be limited.
