25-30 in florida w/ no health care...
Hey guys, just thought I'd share, and it might be the first little advantage or hope I see coming out of this...
I am 28 and no job and not married, and now qualify in Florida for health insurance on my parents BCBS Coverage... so basically 2 years health insurance and my parents can claim me as dependent... you don't even have to be a Florida resident anymore for this either.... just have yourself file next year as dependent and take classes in school or be a part time student, or the reverse...
I'm working on my masters myself, so, I qualify...woop woop.
If you fall into this category, check it out... probably $300 a month worth of health insurance I am about to get out of this.
Florida did something right! Guess they got enough complaints of these college grads moving back in with their parents who couldn't find a job, and know a bunch of these Florida companies don't offer good health insurance like other states.
That being said, I'd still like to find a full time job but... I'll take this to fill in while I can.
Cheers.

Yep, saw it, and I dunno... don't really feel bad this isn't a gov handout thing it is an insurance regulation thing. They changed it from 24, to 25-30. My parents still pay a higher premium, but that is insanely cheaper than I can get it for.
