Hello, I am 23, born here in Tally and have lived here my whole life. I have traveled extensively through Florida and I think its time for me to try a new city.

I don't think I am looking for anything smaller city wise than Tallahassee.. I Don't really have any specific requirements as I am just gonna jump, try to find a job and see a new part of florida.

I have been considering Jacksonville, Tampa/St Pete, Other parts of North Florida (Destin, Ft Walton Bch,)

Definately out of the question is Polk County........

Its so hard to just jump, but I have to.

What are you personally looking for, and what are you trying to avoid?

if you are moving why limit yourself to just FL? 23 and discontent with Tallahassee? Why am I not surprised? :P ... I left around then also.

Well as a person that grew up in Polk County , came up to Tallahassee for school, graduated and went to Chicago (loved it) for a few years and returned to Tallahassee for grad school, Just go! Like another person stated why limit yourself to Florida? You won't know what you may be missing if you've never left the nest (hometown) and part of growing up and finding out who you really are starts here. Who's to say you won't end up in Tallahassee again one day. Hell, I might end up in Lakeland sooner than later.

Just some friendly advice

The winters were brutal. My very first encounter with snow up there involved being snowed in back in 1998 during a winter Co-op while a senior in school. That was around the same time that Gov. Chiles passed away. The airports were closed, me and my roommate were snowed in without food and our flight was delayed 3 days which made me 3 days late for the start of my last semester.
