First, there is a lot of bad turduckens out there. Since anyone can go online and download a recipe from some celebrity chef, they think that they can make a turducken. And I have experienced some bad ones. However, it is not all that easy.
If I were to serve a turducken, I would order one from Hebert's Meats in Maurice, LA. (If the name sounds familiar, Bobby Hebert was the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints in the 1990s.) These guys are the masters of the stuffed meats.
Frozen Turduken mail order, especially cajun, will be horrible. Admittedly I only tried one, but this mail order meat experiment is one I have conducted enough times to know it does not work. Ham and other smoked meat are the only thing you can buy mail order that are any good. The local places if you have one would be ok; mail order frozen poultry? No. If you can eat mail order frozen poultry, you might as well just drive through Wendy's on Thanksgiving and get some chicken nuggets. No offense to those who claim to have tried this product intended.
Or, you could try it and post up your miseries for others to see.
I am not repulsed by the idea per se, but I have heard from several people that turduckens are gross.

It wasn't gross at all, but it wasn't that great, either.
I think all of the different flavors just sort of diluted the whole experience.
Well, we have all thoroughly enjoyed the ones we ordered from Louisiana, and given that I'm famous for my gumbo and my jambalaya (way back when - I've played with it since) was a dead-ringer for that served at the Court of Two Sisters in New Orleans, and that I'm a member of a family of serious foodies, I'd have to say that mileage most definitely varies - perhaps in part because of where you buy it.
We had one from the Cajun grocer several years back but were put off by the seasoning they used. I imagine if it was prepared differently, with flavors we were more accustom to with fowl, we would have liked it better. Still, it was a hit with everyone gathering around and taking plenty of photos just because it was so unusual. My family is weird, even if we don't like and can't eat something, the fact that it's unique keeps us talking about the meal for years. And we have had more than a few of those!! Don't even get me started on the suckling pig fiasco of 2006
