Hi Karly. I am like this person. I love Jager Bombs but was recently told by my doctor that I can't have caffeine anymore. :-( I am very interested in your drink that tastes like Red Bull... can you please email me the info? tracichristinehosler@gmail.com. thank you!!!

Did you ever find. Non-energy drink that tastes like Red Bull. I too am an addict and I have got to get off these things. I’m deinking 4-5 16oz Red Bull’s a day and I know it can’t be good for me. I just went thru chemo and radiation - have to find a healthy alternative. Would be interested in what you were able to find.

My husband is addicted (but less than you) to Monsters, and it's all about the caffeine and guarana etc they put in. I think you'd find you don't really enjoy the taste if you weren't getting the energy hit you crave.

Personally, I think they all taste just awful, and I can't stand the smell either. DH knows he's not supposed to open one while we're in an enclosed car together!

I suggest since you want to quit them you simply start weaning off to less and less per day, and maybe replace some of them with plain old Cokes for a while. Not that those are healthy, but I don't think they're as bad for you. There are also those little 5 hour energy bottles they keep by the register at 7-11 you could try.

The Bai bubbles "Bolivian Black Cherry" flavor is similar to Sugar Free Red Bull, and the (if you can find it in your area or order on line) Schweppes Black Cherry Ginger Ale is also similar to regular Red Bull if you're looking for a full calorie soda. Not exact, but an ok substitute. I'd be curious to know if it hits your palate similarly since some of us love Red Bull taste and some don't and everyone's tastebuds can be a bit different...
