I was trying to think of the name of the place, but another really good burger in TX was at DJ's, just down from Reliant Stadium. Last time I went there, they were closed though.
I live in NC, but TX seems to have some good burgers (good thing since NC knows how to make the Que'.)
Bonnie's Grill. Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. They give the burgers a mildly spicy rub before grilling 'em. Throw a slice of raw onion on there and I'm good to go.
How's Fuddruckers nowadays? They came to SoCal in the 80's, but some of their locations have closed. I think the last time I was at Fuddruckers was in the early 90's. The food was very good, with huge Texas-style portions.
One place I did like in the San Antonio area, but I is gone for good is Puffin' Billy's. They where loaded with everything and pretty cheap. Has anyone heard of this company or know if it still exist in other states?
