I don't add much salt when I'm cooking. Baking requires it to give things proper rise (like bread).
A couple years ago, I took both the sugar bowl and the salt shaker off the table. My husband was a "salt before tasting" kind of guy before we got married - I think from years of eating in the military chow hall (where food tends to be rather bland). Now, he rarely even asks for either. If we've got guests, we fill them and put them out ...
No (or very seldom). Everything is way to salty here, and has not enough other spices and herbs.
I notice that most people salt their food BEFORE tasting it. Habitual...
There was a scene in a movie where a Donald Trump type bigshot was interviewing two competing applicants for some big job and when the first guy salted his food before tasting it he hired the other guy on the theory that it showed a thoughtless person controlled by habit (your point). Can't remember the movie name.

I don't particularly care for the taste of salt so no, I don't salt my food. Of course restaurant and prepared foods come loaded with it, but I always ask for mine to be made without when that option exists. When cooking, I always opt for unsalted ingredients if I have a choice.
DH, OTOH, adds enough salt to his food for us both - with some leftover.
