Eggplant parm sand with lots of sauce, mozz, peppers and onions. Eat it with knife and fork.

Must have either an obscene pile of pastrami, the greasy kind, or on any other kind of sandwich, a lot of shredded lettuce, cucumber and tomato.

This sandwich is about as close to perfection as you can get:

At a good New York deli I want pastrami on rye with swiss and yellow mustard (washed down with a Cel-Ray soda). I think my favorite sandwich overall is a Bahn Mi.

We don't really have NY style delis here... But I do like the BLT made with pork belly that I can get from the sandwich shop near my house. The owner makes every component of the sandwich from scratch. Mmm mmm.

the only sandwiches I buy from sandwich places are Subway, the BLT with extra bacon with spinach instead of lettuce and add jalapenos and olives.

Oh man, there is this hoagie shop that I LOVE. Best hoagies ever. But anyway it's up in Philly area, where I am from. I live in Virginia now (short-term) and have thought about moving back to Philly solely for this shop... haha

But it's called Anna's Steaks & Hoagies. When I go, I order: a regular tuna hoagie, light mayo. Sweet peppers, pickles, lettuce, provolone cheese, and tomatoes. And I get some salt & vinegar chips while I am there. Best rolls ever (Amoroso's Rolls...drool) and the freshest cheese. No hoagie shop here in the DC area can even compare. Must. Have. One. NOW.
